The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service, National Laboratory for Agriculture and the Environment, Ames, Iowa, invites applications for an agricultural science research technician to assist a Research Agronomist by performing a variety of complex technical duties in a laboratory, field, or greenhouse environment and contributing ideas towards the technical aspects of the research. The ideal candidate will have experience performing mechanical farm management activities (e.g., planting, harvesting, spraying) and data collection, processing, and analysis. This is a permanent appointment, and U.S. citizenship is required.
