The individual selected for this position will provide professional level research assistance in the department of Animal Sciences.
Essential Functions Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Education and Experience
Research Associate I: No experience required for entry level Salary Range: $31,300 - $52,100
Research Associate II: Master’s degree in Animal Sciences, Biology, or closely related field and 2 years of experience in research practices and protocols relevant to the position. Salary Range: $35,000 – $58,400
Research Associate III: Master’s degree in Animal Sciences, Biology, or closely related field and 4 years of experience in research practices and protocols relevant to the position. Salary Range: $39,300 – $65,500
Research Associate IV: Master’s degree in Animal Sciences, Biology, or closely related field and 6 years of experience in research practices and protocols relevant to the position. Salary Range: $45,100 – $75,100
Indicated education is required; no substitutions allowed.
When a candidate has the required education, but lacks the required experience, they may normally apply additional appropriate education toward the experience requirement, at a rate of one (1) year relevant education per year of required experience.
Area of Experience Excellent communication and organizational skills; familiarity/experience working in a laboratory setting.
