Research Agronomist/Research Biologist (Computational)
The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service, Forage Seed and Cereal Research Unit in Corvallis, OR seeks a Research Agronomist/Research Biologist (Computational) GS-0471/0401-12/13 ($82,694 -$127,835 per annum, plus benefits). The scientist in this position develops new computational, simulation, or modeling approaches to answer questions about industrial hemp production and cropping systems that include industrial hemp. Collaborative opportunities exist with a broad range of agricultural scientists to develop crop production decision aids that make industrial hemp production higher yielding, better quality, and with reduced environmental impact.
