The Plants, Soils and Climate Department is a unit of the College of Agriculture and Applied Sciences (http://caas.usu.edu/). Facilities available include numerous research farms with a wide range of soil types and climatic conditions, and some sites have certified organic fields. The department is located in a new building with modern laboratory facilities, has various greenhouses and plant production sites, and the farm and field equipment needed to conduct basic and applied research.
