Field Technician I
Description of position: The Peanut Breeding and Genetics program at the Texas A&M AgriLife Research and Extension Center at Lubbock has an opening for a Research Technician I.  This is an opportunity to work to develop new peanut and guar varieties for Texas growers, to work with growers, students, and station personnel, and to contribute with new ideas. The position will have responsibility for supervising peanut and guar field plots in the breeding program. This includes preparing and packaging seed for field trials and breeding nurseries, planting and maintaining field plots, harvesting, collecting field data and samples, supervising student workers, and representing the program with growers and at occasional meetings.  Duties of the position in
