Description The USDA ARS Plant Genetic Resources Unit has an exciting opportunity for a motivated Ph.D. graduate with interest and expertise in molecular biology, plant tissue culture, plant genetics, or plant breeding. Research will be tailored to support hemp genetics research including developing and using tissue culture propagation techniques for facilitating generation and storage of stable hemp germplasm resources. Current projects aim to characterize and improve currently available hemp germplasm for fiber, seed, and secondary metabolites.
