The Researcher will join bio365’s Science Team, reporting directly to our Chief Scientific Officer and co-founder John Gaunt. As a key team member your work will advance our understanding of the performance of our unique biologically active horticultural media.
The goal of this research is to deliver commercial benefits to our customers from an understanding of the microbial diversity and function in the rhizosphere.
This work will inform our quality assurance, product development and manufacturing process improvement.
You will both lead and participate in team based projects.

A strong understanding of rhizosphere processes and an ability to apply this to Controlled Environmental Agriculture (CEA).
Demonstrated ability to conceive and implement “omics” based research
Highly organized, attentive to detail, self-starting and able to work independently
Able to balance and prioritize multiple projects in a dynamic work environment
Able to design, implement and undertake statistical analysis of trial results.
Excited to work with our CSO and patent team to develop our patent portfolio
Experienced with Google Drive and the Google Suite of tools (Sheets, Docs, Slides, Forms)
