DESCRIPTION: The Nutrient Management and Water Quality group (http://go.umd.edu/Toor) housed in the Department of Environmental Science and Technology at the University of Maryland seeks candidates for a three-year postdoctoral researcher position on the fate and transport of phosphorus (P) in agricultural landscapes. This position is funded through the USDA-NIFA and Maryland Department of Agriculture grants. The initial appointment will be for one year, with the possibility of an extension based on performance. POSITION SUMMARY: The successful candidate will lead a project investigating the cycling and transport of P in crop production systems, with the overall goal of developing the n
