This is a full-time, 12-month, tenure-track position with 70% research 30% teaching appointment. Candidates are sought with the vision and expertise to develop and lead an innovative research program that advances integrated weed management and incorporates state-of-the-art weed management technologies. The candidate must communicate with commodity and agricultural industry partners to identify, develop, and implement critical research projects. The selected candidate is expected to obtain extramural funding to support research, mentor graduate students, communicate research results at professional meetings, and publish in refereed journals. Collaboration with research and extension faculty in Louisiana, and with national experts on issues of shared interest and importance, is expected.
