This role is accountable for leading R&D sample handling and testing of alternative grains and pulses, optimizing lab activities, processing small-batch experimental ingredients, and managing lab assets. The R&D Lab Specialist conducts routine sample analyses while ensuring daily sample prioritization, test precision and accuracy, and clear communication of results to accelerate R&D progress. This position will perform calibration checks and preventive maintenance on lab equipment. They are responsible for timely and accurate communications of results to the Genetics & Ingredients Research Manager, lead R&D Scientist, and/or broader teams involved. They must have the ability to explain the significance of the results.
