The Department of Plant Science at Cal Poly Pomona invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Soil Science (Urban Soil & Biogeochemistry), appointment effective Fall 2024. Duties and responsibilities: The new faculty member will teach undergraduate soil science courses, including basic soil science, soil fertility, and soil chemistry, general plant science courses, and mentor undergraduate and master’s students on research projects and nationally competitive co-curricular teams. The successful candidate will demonstrate the potential for high-impact teaching practices to de
