The Department of Extension Plant Sciences at New Mexico State University is seeking to fill an Extension Viticulture Specialist/Assistant Professor position. (75% Extension/25% Research). This is a tenure track, 12 month position. Basic enology experience and three to five years of experience in wine grape production are preferred. The successful candidate will conduct an applied research program within the field of viticulture and enology relevant to New Mexico producers and urban stakeholders with an emphasis on developing sustainable management practices, improving grape quality, and increasing the profitability of the grape and wine industries.
