Research Soil Scientist/Agronomist
The USDA, ARS, Cropping Systems and Water Quality Research Unit (CSWQRU) in Columbia, Missouri, is seeking a Research Soil Scientist or Agronomist. The overall mission of the CSWQRU is to develop knowledge and provide technological solutions to optimize agricultural production systems at the sub-field to watershed scale, for both economic and environmental sustainability. The successful applicant will join an interdisciplinary team of scientists developing decision support tools for crop management systems that adapt to temporal and spatial variability; evaluating agronomic response and profitability at multiple scales; and assessing the long-term impact on soil and water resources.
