Graduate Research Assistant Position
The Ma Lab in the Department of Horticulture and Crop Science at the Ohio State University is currently seeking a highly motivated candidate to fill a fully funded PhD/MS research assistant position. The successful candidate will conduct germplasm-related research to characterize genetics resources, study population diversity, explore molecular breeding, and gain insights into genetic mechanisms through genomics, transcriptomics and phenomics in ornamental crops. The goals of Ma’s research lab closely align up with the mission of the Ornamental Plant Germplasm Center, which is part of the USDA-ARS National Plant Germplasm System and located within the Columbus campus of the Ohio State University.
