DIRECTOR, MID-MISSOURI RESEARCH, EXTENSION AND EDUCATION CENTER (MREEC)
Mid-Missouri REEC (MREEC) is located in and around Columbia, MO, and has a state-wide mission.  It is made up of several farms and forests totaling more than 6,400 acres that serve as field laboratories for the University of Missouri’s on-campus researchers, host tens of thousands of visitors each year for Extension and outreach activities, and has the special function of providing hands-on learning opportunities for hundreds of students in the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources.  Research is conducted on agronomic, horticultural, and forage crops, livestock including beef cattle, swine, and dairy cattle, as well as natural resource utilization and weather.  The center also provides resources such as genetically unique animals and plants to support basic research conduct
